New website: coming soon

We’ve been listening! You told us:

  1. Our website feels cluttered and confusing.
  2. It isn’t easy to find what you needed...
  3. ...especially on your mobile.

What's changing?

By understanding what you need we’ve redesigned our website, so you can get around and find what you need more easily.

What's in:

  • Simpler and smoother access to savings accounts and mortgage products, with better filters and product cards for easy comparison.
  • A new support centre with over 50 quick-read guides covering savings, mortgages, insurance, and first home decisions.
  • Review of every page, with 75% of unnecessary pages removed, making information easier to find.
  • A reorganised menu with clearly labelled subcategories for easier navigation.
  • Improved use of accessible colours to enhance contrast and readability, especially for screen readers.
  • Simple language, icons, and illustrations to make complex financial information easier to understand.

What's out:

  • Confusing, extensive product lists that made finding and comparing savings accounts and mortgages difficult.
  • Information spread across thousands of pages, making it hard to find what you needed.
  • A cluttered and confusing navigation bar with too much choice.
  • Excessive use of 'dragon red' that made readability and accessibility challenging online.
  • Confusing financial jargon and plain, uninteresting pages.

Why we’re changing things

We’ve worked hard to make things simpler and easier for you. And we’ve injected some new things into our brand identity but haven’t moved too far away from the look and feel you expect from us at Principality. We’ve listened to input from our Members at every step and we hope these improvements help you find your way around.

We’re going to keep improving things as we go. We’ll be busy understanding what works, tweaking and updating things, and adding new tools and functionality to help you make decisions about your savings and mortgages.

Look out for the new changes very soon.
