Our Home Insurance is provided by LV=. Hopefully you’ll never find out just how good our home insurance policies are. After all, that would mean making a claim. But when mishaps do happen, you can feel confident that together we’ll help you get back on your feet in no time.


Silver product covers your property against items such as fire, flood, extreme weather, subsidence, escape of water and theft.

This policy can cover your property, your contents or both.


Gold product is the most comprehensive level of home insurance we offer with accidental damage and Home Emergency included as standard.

This policy can cover your property, your contents or both.

Making a claim 

If you do need to make a claim, please call LV=, who provide the Silver and Gold, on 0800 756 8892.

The claims team you deal with is based in the UK and is there to support you throughout the claim.

LV= claims team will see your claim through from beginning to end and will be there to answer your questions and to give you the information you need to help make your claim as straightforward and hassle-free as possible.

Lines are open 8am-8pm Monday - Friday and 8am-4pm Saturdays. For emergencies lines are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Existing Fairmead home insurance customers

If you are a Principality customer and have previously purchased Home Insurance or Home Insurance Plus policy with Fairmead Insurance Limited (renamed from Legal & General Insurance Limited), part of the Liverpool Victoria General Insurance Group, you can make a claim on your policy by calling 0370 060 0419. Lines are open 8am-6pm Monday-Friday and 8am-4pm Saturday. For emergencies lines are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
