How we helped
We’re proud to have supported Morgan Homes to develop Powys’ largest development site. As a result of the funding we provided, Morgan Homes will build 110 new build homes, including a mixture of 2, 3, and 4-bed energy-efficient houses and bungalows.
Matthew Morgan, Director at Morgan Homes said: “We are committed to developing homes that meet the needs of buyers, including combating the cost of day-to-day living. By providing A-rated homes using renewable technology, the new dwellings at Brynygroes will be as economic to run as possible.”

More about this project
The homes were built using Modern Methods of Construction (MMC) to achieve an EPC A rating, and benefited from the Principality Green Fund initiative. The Green Fund aims to drive a focus on creating sustainable homes for the future. The homes feature high levels of insulation, with Air Source Heat Pumps, and solar PV used across the development.
James Ford, Senior Relationship Manager at Principality Commercial said: “As a lender, Principality Commercial are committed to delivering sustainable homes, helping more individuals into a place to call home. It’s a pleasure to support Morgan Homes on their project in Ystradgynlais, which brings quality and environmentally sustainable homes to the area.”
