Broker Document Upload

Welcome to our Document Upload website - the quick and easy way to upload your customer's documents.

It's safe, secure and simple to use, whether you're uploading initial documents or adding update notes, and it will save you time and hassle.

A new, simpler way to send us your clients' mortgage documents

We've listened to feedback from you, our brokers, and designed this system to meet your needs and fit in with the way you like to work. It's linked to the Brokerpoint system, creating a streamlined end-to-end system for mortgage applications.

Document Upload will make your life easier by:

  • Creating a faster, more efficient service, so we can deal with your requests promptly and provide a better experience for your clients
  • Cutting down errors and lost emails, as the system is fully automated
  • Making it simpler to add updates to your mortgage cases, thanks to the notes function
  • The function being open 24/7 for you to upload documents whenever it suits you

For a detailed guide on how Document Upload works, please download our 'How to' guide here.

If I have any questions or want to discuss any issues or problems, who should I ring?

Just call us on 0330 333 4029 (we're here from 9am until 5pm every weekday except Wednesday when we open at 9.30am until 5pm) and we'll be happy to help.

How do I upload a document?

Just follow the instructions in our 'how to' guide.

Can I send all the documents as a single attachment?

We're afraid not. Please scan each individual document (by category) and label it with the correct heading. This will ensure we can identify and process all your documents quickly, saving time for you and your clients.

Can I upload documents to an AIP?

No - you should always upload your documents to a fully submitted application.

Can I upload documents to a completed case?

Unfortunately not. If a case is completed, we can no longer action any documents attached to it, so this will simply slow things down for you.

Which type of documents can I upload?

You can upload any of these documents:

  • .pdf
  • .doc
  • .docx
  • .txt

When I send you a document, how quickly will you deal with it?

We'll always do our best to deal with any documents as quickly as possible. However, if we suddenly receive a large number of documents over a short period, it may occasionally take slightly longer than usual.

What details do I need to log in?

It's just like submitting cases on Brokerpoint, so you'll need your individual log-in information to access the site:

  • Your FCA number (either your network number or, if directly authorised, your company FCA number)
  • Your USERNAME
  • The enquiry/application number for the case concerned (these are the same as the ones you've already used on Brokerpoint to submit the application).

Can I still email documents to you?

Unfortunately, we no longer accept documents via email. Please use the document upload service.

What hours is this service open?

The service runs 24/7 - but please note that our helpdesk is open 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday, except on Wednesday when we are open 9.30am - 5pm.
